Sneak Peek is a chance for 500 high school seniors to get a feel for college life.

The event will take place April 29 on the Washington Street Campus.

“Sign in is at 10 o’clock,” said Amber Brookshire, recruitment coordinator in the enrollment management department.

Brookshire is in charge of the event and makes the arrangements and accommodations for those involved.

Sneak Peek will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The morning session will focus on the academic aspect of college life. In the session, the seniors will be exposed to teachers and advisers who are part of the departments they are interested in.

They will be able to talk to professors, advisers and financial aid staff members.

The afternoon session will focus on the social part of college; a major part of AC social life is Badgerama.

“They will be able to see the fun side of college,” Brookshire said. AC students will have booths and activities for the visiting students to participate in.

The seniors also will have an opportunity to mingle with current college students who are attending Badgerama.

Performers scheduled to appear at the concert are Florez, a pop-rock band; and Rootberry, a one-of-a-kind comedy stunt show.

All the attending high school seniors who plan to enroll in the fall semester will be put in a general scholarship drawing worth $500.

The event allows seniors to see what college is like and see what all AC has to offer.
