The fanfare is set to include games, food, music and other entertainment.
“We hope that students get to engage with their friends, other students and faculty too,” said Heather Atchley, director of student activities.
Atchley said she hopes students will have a great time and blow off some steam.
The Nashville based indie rock group Florez will perform at 11:45 a.m. Florez has shared the stage with many artists, including Sister Hazel, Better than Ezra and Matt Wertz.
Veteran performers Rootberry will entertain the crowd with their own brand of magic, comedy, sword-swallowing and fire-juggling.
The audience also will have a chance to join in some hands-on sporting activities as well as a dunking booth.
As it does every year, the carnival also will boast free food.
Badgerama comes a couple of weeks before AC final exams and could be a much-needed “calm before the storm” for many students.
