The thrill of the movies. It is a place of total imagination that steps out into reality. A world created by the minds of a young girl named Leslie and a young man named Jesse. They embark on letting their ideas come to life in the world of Terabithia.
Bridge to Terabithia opens your mind to whatever adventure you truly desire. Being picked on or being the new kid at school, it is hard to find true friends who can completely understand who you are.
But together, Jesse and Leslie build and imagine a place where there is nothing to hurt you. And this place becomes their own obsession.
Bridge to Terabithia has visual effects that bring the story and the heroic journey to life. The characters in this movie are well thought out, and they can capture the adult audience as well as the children.
It is a story about facing the reality around them and how they can overcome things together. They can do anything they want in Terabithia. Leslie and Jesse are the Queen and King of this world. You sit there through the whole movie feeling the pain, the rejoicing or the kindness they feel. They have a rope which is over a river. It leads them to this magical paradise, but one day Leslie leaves. Jesse is heartbroken because he loved her. She showed him a new world and helped him trust his talent. She was his inspiration to succeed. Terabithia was a refuge for all their emotions, and Jesse realizes that Leslie would want him still to enjoy this magical world. So Jesse brings his young sister, Mabel, to see this world.
The cast was new to me, but they open our imaginations, and we can see this wonderful dream called Terabithia. This movie can make you cheer, cry or ask yourself, "How did they do that?" It can bring out the kid in you. It sure did for me. I love to use my imagination, and Jesse and Leslie also love it. Bridge to Terabithia is a place that opens your minds to many possibilities.
