-Sign up for Spring Too
Register now for Spring Too classes, which will begin March 9. Students have the opportunity to gain full credit for classes in half the time. Those interested can call 371-5030 for information.
-AC scholarship applications due today
Scholarship applications for Amarillo College and the Amarillo College Foundation Inc. are due today.
Applications must be turned in to the AC Foundation Office by 5 p.m. There will be no exceptions for late applications.
Applications may be picked up in various locations around campus or at the foundation office. Call Tracy Daugherty at 371-5106 for more information.
-2007 Distinguished Alumni nominations being accepted
Amarillo College is accepting nominations for the 2007 Distinguished Alumni. Nominees should be former AC students who are deserving of recognition for outstanding achievement.
To make a nomination, contact Amanda Fike at 371-5259 or at fike-aj@actx.edu.
Deadline for nominations is March 9.
-Lamplight Youth Theatre plans raffle
The Lamplight Youth Theatre will sell raffle tickets for a chance to win two tickets for Southwest Airlines.
The tickets cost $5 each or five for $20. They will be sold at all Lamplight performances until the drawing after their performance of Alice in Wonderland May 13.
To see a list of upcoming shows, turn to page 6.
-Help wanted for KACV membership drive
The KACV-TV membership drive will take place Saturday through March 11 and March 24-25.
Volunteers are needed to help during the drive by answering phones and performing other duties.
Those interested should call 371-5479.
-Free lunch offered weekly at BSM
Baptist Student Ministries welcomes all to free lunch at noon each Tuesday at the "B," located at 22nd Avenue and Van Buren Street.
