-Speak to a WTAMU transfer adviser
West Texas A&M University has a transfer admission adviser at Amarillo College each week through November in the Advising and Counseling Center.
Advising on Mondays lasts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
WT football game tickets also are on sale at a discount at those times.
-Apply for graduation
The registrar's office will take graduation applications between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday in 178 Student Service Center. Students who are not able to go by during that time should call Christian Gonzales at 371-5098 or Holly Hicks at 371-5087 to make other arrangements.
-Fall Too
Register now for the Fall Too session. Classes, which will begin Oct. 16, will be less than eight weeks long. More than 50 classes are available.
-Free ESL classes
Free English as a Second Language classes will be offered throughout the East Campus Center for Academic Development beginning Oct. 11 because of a grant from the Amarillo Area Foundation.
There is no pre-registration required. Students may sign up during the first class time. Beginning English will be taught from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; Advanced English Writing will be taught from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes will take place in the East Campus Library.
Transportation can be arranged in advance. For details about the program, call Alice Vargas Hall at 371-5000.

Baptist Student Ministries offers free lunch at noon each Tuesday at the "B" at 22nd Avenue and Van Buren Street.
-Chris Cost returning to speak to students
Chris Cost, a former Amarillo College graphic arts instructor, will return to AC to share his experiences as a designer for the online news media outlet, Studio 55, in Naples Fla.
His speech will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday in 131 Russell Hall on the Washington Street Campus.
Cost earned his associate's degree in graphic design and multimedia at AC in 2001.
-SECC annual chili cookoff
The SECC chili cookoff will take place Friday on the East Campus. Clubs, committees, departments, divisions and associations can register to participate through Friday.
Student, staff and faculty groups may form teams and compete for best chili, corn bread, cobbler or decorating theme.
-West Campus Massacre
Building B of the West Campus has been transformed into a haunted house by pharmacy technology, mortuary science and Biology Club students.
The exhibit will begin at 8 p.m. Friday and will be open at the same time each Friday and Saturday night for the remainder of October. It also will be open on Halloween night. Tickets cost $12.
