Thanks, Amarillo College.  Thanks for nothing.

I had only 13 hours to complete before I was activated and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Upon my return, I discovered that Amarillo College tacked on several more classes to my degree plan.  Fine, I'll do your classes.  But wait! On the first day of class, one of the classes that Amarillo College thinks I need, only five people signed up for.

It was CMPT 1305-Essentials 1-PC Hardware and Software.

Now as a result of this decision, I lose over $1,000 in GI Bill payments. The Army is going to come after me to reimburse the tuition assistance they paid, thinking that I dropped out.

I also wonder how many months it will take Amarillo College to give back the money it owes for dropping the class and how many years it will take before they offer the class again.

You're a real class act, Amarillo College. You offer service to absolutely nobody.
