Inquiring minds want to know why

Why is it that they raise tuition, feed us food that tastes like we're back in high school, but for the life of them can't clean the tables in the College Union Building?

I'm on campus every day by 6:30 a.m.

The person who cleans the building is still there and has seen me cleaning tables; but never, not once, has he come over and started cleaning or took over cleaning them.

I've looked into it, and it is his job to sweep, mop and clean each table before the food area opens.

I've even spoken with the head man of our wonderful school, and he said he would take care of it. Didn't happen.

I myself think I should be paid $25 for the anti-bacterial wipes I've used and somewhere around $100 for cleaning all these tables throughout the semester.

Is it really too much to ask that we have clean tables? After all, the food is nasty, and we do pay a lot of money to go to school here. Can we at least have clean tables to sit at and enjoy?

Just for the record, I have watched teachers in the past wiping down tables, and I've seen how their faces light up when it's clean and they got to just sit down.

So I am not the only inquiring mind out there who wants to know WHY!
