Up for a bungee bull ride? How about a toilet race? Maybe confessing your deepest thoughts in a confessional booth or recording your first single?

Badgerama and Sneak Peek will give you the chance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22 on the grounds just south of Memorial Park and in the Carter Fitness Center on the Washington Street Campus.

"Last year I attended Badgerama and Sneak Peek as a senior," said Britteny Martin, an education major and programming chair for student activities.

"It was a lot of fun and a time where I could hang out with my friends."

Martin, who helped coordinate and plan this year's NASCAR-themed Badgerama, looks forward to the festivities.

"One of the things I've enjoyed doing this year is planning the events," she said. "I'm really excited about the bungee bull."

Alternative country band Fairfax will perform at the event.

Fairfax plays music that is a cross between Willie Nelson and Dave Matthews, said April Sessler, director of student activities.

"I feel lucky to get them," Sessler said.

"They are becoming very popular, and I feel they will be out of the campus market soon and on to bigger things."

Another event that will happen for the second year is "The Lottery."

Sigma Kappa Delta conducts an unusual lottery that gives students the opportunity to pelt the "lucky winner" with several rounds of water balloons.

The idea is based on the dark short story, "The Lottery," by Shirley Jackson, said Becky Easton, sponsor of Sigma Kappa Delta.

"'The Lottery' was so popular with the students last year that we wanted to make it an annual event," Easton said.

Juliet Alonzo-Chambers of new student relations said Sneak Peek provides an opportunity for area high school seniors to come to AC and see the programs and opportunities available to them.

"The seniors get to enjoy the college life through Badgerama and get the "college day" through Sneak Peek." Alonzo-Chambers said. "It is kind of a one-stop deal."
