Have fun, no matter what

At first, I didn't think that was true. I thought the couple planned everything and that the guys were just as interested as the gals.
Wrong. If they give their advice on one thing, they are reeled into another choice and another and another.
Sure, it's OK to ask him his opinion, but do you think he is going to argue? Do you actually think he is going to put his two cents in? He is going to tell you that, unless you want to spend way too much money, your choice of a honeymoon spot is a great idea.
Now don't get me wrong: I am not encouraging all of you to get whatever you want and make him slave away to pay for it all. I am not telling you to book the most exquisite Caribbean cruise or to sail away to Maui. If you are that well-off, more power to you.
I, on the other hand, am not. I wish I could say I am well-off enough to pay for a cruise, but I would be lying and my bank account would be crying. Not to mention, my fiancé would be.
I am saying to find somewhere that just the two of you can enjoy your wedding night. If that means renting a hotel room in Amarillo and enjoying each other's company, then by all means, rent it, already.
I am saying that it doesn't matter where you go. Enjoy the fact that you are going to be together the rest of your lives. As scary as that statement might be to some people, realize that your honeymoon starts the rest of your life together.
I am getting married in May, and I am excited. I have almost everything done (at least I hope so), and I just can't wait. I know our wedding is going to be beautiful, because our families and friends are going to be there.
Half my staff is in the wedding party, and both families have helped tremendously in getting everything cheaper. David's Bridal has been such a big help, and Henry's Flowers helped me so much in choosing the decorations.
A lot of stress has been lifted off my shoulders, which is awesome, because I am trying to graduate.
Minor details have yet to be sharpened, but the big stuff for the actual wedding ceremony is mostly decided.
Our honeymoon is yet to be decided. We have talked about it and are thinking we are going to wait until we can save up some money to take a very nice vacation out of Amarillo - not like a cruise or something we could only dream of, but either the mountains or beach.
No matter where we go, it will be fun.
