According to his Web site, “His presentations bring about immediate changes and long-term results.”
Pettiford spoke of love and more frankly, sex.
He spoke of how the physical act of marriage is not the binding contract, but rather the act of sex that seals the deal.
He encouraged spectators to think of how once they are ready to allow a person that kind of access to their body, they should consider how much that person really means to them.
Another main topic was relationships. Audience members were told that they should focus on “fixing” themselves before trying to fix their significant other.
Pettiford used multiple personal experiences as examples of what to do or not to do in a relationship.
He said he had tried three times to marry his college girlfriend, and even though they had a child together, they never went on to marry.
Pettiford’s current wife is expecting, and audience members could tell how anxious he was for the birth of his fourth child by his pacing pre-show.
He animatedly used hand gestures, as well as examples students could relate to, to keep their interest.
Volunteers were used to show scenarios of relationships and possible emotional outcomes that could result from those events.
At the end, Pettiford asked the audience if they had learned anything. Almost every hand shot toward the ceiling.
